You will need to restore the notebook back to a time when the app was working.

Hi, I seem to have all kinds of issues with this laptop,or is it just Windows 8? My Store app will not load. Also in order to download a game from Steampowered, they want to know my internet connection speed - where will I find that? Looked in all sorts of nooks and crannies in this Pavilion g6, can't find it. Any help will be appreciated. Wish I'd hung onto my Windows XP PC....
Thanks, MargieMay.

bought Hp computer and from day one it hasn't allowed me to open up the Windows store. So, I don't think that I can restore it back. What should I do? I have a replacement plan from Walmart but I don't want to have to send computer in because I need it everday for school.

Hi Hannah2010,
I found information about the Windows store on the Microsoft web forums. I think this would be most helpful to you What to do if you have problems with an app . At the bottom of this link there is a section titled "Notes" and the final bullet says If you're still experiencing problems with an app, you can try running the Apps troubleshooter. This tool can automatically identify and fix some problems with apps. It is only available in English, but will work in all languages.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you would like any further assistance
