I have changed to this driver, however it still doesn't work. PLEASE help me!

I am using window 7 Professional (32 bit) in a HP Comqa 6530s.

Thank you so much and I truly appreciate it!

This sounds just like my issue, but can anyone tell me for sure what the driver's called that I need to uninstall before re-installing the intel driver? I'm on a Dv3-2155mx running windows 7 home...

I just don't want to uninstall the wrong thing. Is it the intel(R) graphics media accelerator driver?

after I installed  HP Support Assistant, it's help me find the new driver. And...

First update driver, My Touch Pad only use move mouse, it can't use scrolling. And i can tap disable zone, but can't tap anable. ( before i can use touchpad with all features)

The Next update, Adjust screen brightness was lost. Now, i must work with dim display.

I use CQ42 173TX. Sad for HP

I had the same problem for months with the Elitebook 8440p. Drove me nuts. sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not.  after updating the chipset drivers using the auto check function on intel,

Had to reboot a few times (my screen settings changed back to default, but easy to set back.

Thanks for the solution.

I used the Intel detect software via the link Inxjoec used.  This is what it tells me.  Then after clicking the computer manufacturer link I end up being redirected to this website.  All I want to do is change my brightness.  It is my kryptonite.IntelGraphics.jpg

Worked for me as well - HP Envy

All I did was click "update driver" through my control panel's Device manager under intel in the graphics cards properties

Hi,

I am using HP Pavalion g6-2314ax Notebook PC (D7N17PA). I had installed windows7 and updated all the drivers using HP Support Assistant, and was working fine. Now I installed Windows 8 and I am not able to change my screen brightness even though I had updated all the drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Kindly provide a solution.

Regards

bibin
