hiii every one,
i have recently purchased hp notebook ... model no : 2000-2d37tu.... is a free dos model.
i have installed windows 7 with all drivers.... and i am facing a problem that the screen is emmiting constant light... so i want to adjust brightness and contrast....
how to adjust it????? pls guide me....

What worked out for me as well as or other users was to update intel chipset drivers, but not trough hp, to update the drivers I downloaded them directly from intel.

I have the solution to regaining the brightness adjustment after upgrading to Win8.1.
On the start page type in "recovery manager"
On the recovery manager screen that appears, click "hardware driver reinstallation" and click next.
Choose the graphics driver and go from there. This will reinstall the original driver and its settings. Your PC will reboot and problem should be solved. It worked for me.
