My Hp probook 4330s was working fine last night, tried to turn on today after charging all night and it won't turn on. Theres a small light that flashes orange when I press the power button, tried removing the battery and holding down the power button but didn't work. Anything I can do?!

Which led is flashing orange?
Is it flashing with the battery removed?

Hello, I have the same problem. The led indicatir will blink whem batery inserted or connected with AC power.
I've tried hard reset, by disconnecting AC power and removing baterys and press start button for more than 15 seconds.
Nothing happens.....
I don't know why, it was working fine, I've just finished updating W7, with several reboots....
Regards

We have 75 of these in our company and have had 3 fail the same way in the last few month. The machine refuses to switch on, whether on power or battery. All that happens is the power button LED (white) lights for a couple of seconds then goes off. We have tried stripping them down, rebuilding, swapping batteries, hard drives, memory, psu etc but nothing works.
I have a major concern that they will all go this way and they are just over 12months old. HELP!

Sorted it.
It is caused by a corrupted bios (this has usually happened after a windows update, which i know should not happen, perhaps HP updates occurred also, the user did not notice).
The fix, strip the thing to bits, remove the bios battery for 5 mins, replace, rebuild & reboot, laptop powers up with a white screen stating it needs to fix the corrupted bios, once its done restart, reset the clock and its all working fine.
We have decided to upgrade the bios on our machines as it mentions fixing a power-on issue.
