Thank you for joining HP Forums.}
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand you get the message "Press ctrl+I to enter configuration utility" on startup
When RAID is enabled in the BIOS, you see this RAID Option ROM command prompt during startup:
Press CTRL+I to enter RAID Configuration Utility.
If the BIOS setting for Expansion Card Text is disabled and the <CTRL I> command prompt does not appear, try the following steps to resolve the issue.
- Press F10 during startup to enter the BIOS Setup.
- Go to the Boot menu.
- Set Expansion Card Text1 to Disabled.
- Press F10 to save and exit.
Although this could be handy if you ever want to utilize the Raid function,

Hey@Chris971,
Thanks for the response.
The screen shot you have shared is of the BIOS screen and not the Raid utility. In the 3rd screen where it states System Configuration, select the option “Intel Rapid Start Technology” and disable it and Press F10 to save the changes. Then restart the PC and check if you still get the screen.
Hope this helps. Please share for more assistance.
