In that case, unfortunately you'll have to buy a new hard drive.

Here is service manual for your model. Check page 56.

There are all details about replacing faulty hard drive.

My screen doesn't exactly "start up". But it does say tech support. When I start up my lap top. It says my internal battery is low? & Also my battery charger does no longer work. I feel like my lap top doesn't hold a charge either. Any ideas what is wrong? & how i can fix it!? :catindifferent:

Its evidence your Laptop is having problems. First, are you out of warranty?, if so that Tech assistance will cost you and could solve problem, however, indications are your messages tells your problem.

Based of your descripion its time to Order a replacement battery. Charger can not charger a faulty battery. As do any other Battery operated machine,  Batteries won"t last the lifetime of that machine. Buy a new one!

Addendum to: Replacement Battery that won't charge. Just a. reminder, there is no secret about an HP Computer or any other Netbook, Notebook, Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Routers, etc. Scientist inventing these machines, have built in Software that can detect a malfuntion in that machine, the Technican can review that message and determime the problem. We may tinker or attempt to fix.it, however, we are not trained on a particular Computer System. Don't beat a "Dead Horse", follow your Messages, don not speculate, deny its meaning.
