Hi.
I am having the same problem. When I turn on my laptop, the screen says:
"Boot device not found.
Please install an operating system on your hard disc.
Hard Disk (3FO)
F2 System Diagnostics
For more nformation please visit: http://www.hp.com\go\techcenter\startup"
But when I go to visit that site it says "server not found" no matter what I use (Firefox, Safari, etc.)
I don't have the F1 F2 F3 etc. buttons so I don't know how to do anything with the laptop.
It is an HP Pavilion m6.
-Thank you

I was able to pull up the site just fine. You may want to try deleting your cache and cookie files on your computer and trying again.

Sorry to be a pain but I did steps 1 and 3 and it still isnät responding well. Itäs saying that the SMART check is not installed and the Long DST is not installed. Does this mean that I have to use the disc itäs asking for?
