Hello akim,
I see that you are having a problem with a start up error on your HP computer. I would like to help with this issue but I need some information.
Can you provide the model and product number of the computer? Here is a link that shows how to find that information.
Can you provide the full error message youa re receiving?

Hello 917320,
Is there an error message given by the computer before it shuts down?

When I booted my Laptop on after being idle for a couple of days, the screen said to contact the hp.com/go/gechcenter/startup. Before I did that, I did all the tests: Smart Check and it failed. The following are the things that showed up during the Smart Check: Failure ID: RGDKBL-5A26N4-D002K-60F903
Product ID: H121UA#ABA
Hard Disk 1
I did the rest of the test: Run-In Test-Failed
System Tune-Up - Failed
Hrd Disk Test-----Failed
Memory Test---- Passed
Battery Test-----Passed
BIOS Update - The system BIOS update failed.
The System BIOS Rollbackc failed, and BIOS Update not available.
So can you tell me what is going on? My computer Hard Drive was replaced in December of 2013. What can I do? Also, I noticed that my Laptop gets hot after maybe a half-an hour after I turned it on. Is there a solution to my problem other than buying another Hard Drive? Thank you............Danah

Hello Danah,
I see that you are having problems with a start up error on your computer.
The smart check is giving off a message that indicates a failed hard drive. If you can boot into the BIOS by pressing the "F10" key on start up then hard drive replacement is most likely necessary.
