Hi,
I have been searching the internet for a answer to this but cannot find it anywhere. I have also read and checked all the technical documents for this device.
What we simply wish to do is have the sound from the call to be played over our speaker system in the meeting room.
We have plugged in the Soundstation 2 Ex all working fine, I then plug a RCA cable from the AUX port on the Power Module to our AMP that has a SPDIF/Coaxial Audio input plug. Then on the sound station I go into settings and change the Aux Port to External Speakers. When in a call nothing comes out of the speakers. I have tested the AMP and cable by using my DVD player and the audio is played over the speaker system. I have also changed the Power Module with spares with have and still no sound so not a faulty port.
I cannot find anyone online to confirm that this system works like this, all the specifications and technical documents tell me it can but I must be missing something.
Please if someone could tell me they have it working and what they did it would be great. I feel I am going a little crazy and should not be that difficult.
Thanks in advance
A

Hello AxelA,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
You mention SPDIF, that is a digital signal and the SoundStation would only output an analog signal.
In addition ensure that you are using the original Polycom supplied cable between the Power Mod and the Unit itself.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
