Hello,

I currently have a Polycom Voicestation 300 (2201-17910-001) base, and a Polycom Soundstation 2 Wall Module (2201-16020-601). Are these units compatible? Or will I need to purchase the VOicestation 300/500 Wall Module (2201-17020-601)? Both Wall Modules look exactly the same, just a different part number/label.

Hello ggauruder,

Whilst they visually may look similar to my knowledge you can only use them for the unit they came with and should not swap these as the pinout would be different.

Before I saw this response, I took a chance and successfully powered on the VoiceStation 300 base with a SoundStation2 Wall Module. I did not test anything further. I assume it is still not a good idea to use these products together even though it will provide power?
