My Sound Station 2 makes a loud beeping noise at random times during calls. It's the kind of thing I would expect if a battery were going dead, but I don't think there is a battery in the unit. Anybody have this experience? Thanks.

Hello Tim,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
There is not really anything in the SoundStation 2 that would make that noise.
Have you tried a normal analog phone on this line?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Our Soundstatuion 2W is hooked up to an analog phone line and has begun beeping loudly and regularly. If we can't get this resolved we're going to have to discard this unit and get something else. Has anything been figured out about this yet? Thanks.

We have the same model Soundstation 2W and it beeps intermittently throughout calls as well. Very annoying when you're on a conference call with investors. We have confirmed that the analog line does not accept incoming calls, and does not accept voicemails, and it happens whether on AC or DC power, so at this point we're unsure what the cause is. Same boat as well, if we can't get this resolved, we'll be discarding it for a different one.
