Sound Station replacement interface Module

I have a Sound Station 2 Direct connect part ref 2201-17120-601 using interface module Part no 2201-06415-604. This interface module uses a seaprate AC to Dc adapter and this part is faulty. My supplers tell me this item is not available as a spare part.

My question. Can I use the the Universal Module Ref 2201-16050-102 to replace the old "Interface module" and its external AC/ DC adapter

I cannot recommend using any other Polycom spare part than the originally intended part / part number.
