To charge the headset, place it in the charging cradle. The headset charging LED flashes when charging the headset and turns off when the headset is fully charged. Charge for at least 20 minutes before the first use. A full charge takes up to three hours.
Charge the spare battery, if applicable, by placing it in the battery compartment of your charge stand or charging accessory and connecting it to a USB power source.
You can replace your headset battery even during active calls by doing the following:
- While on a call, remove your headset battery. Your headset mutes.
- Replace with a charged spare battery.
- You hear "base connected" and "mute off" when the battery is replaced, and you are reconnected to your call.
The headset provides up to five hours of continuous talk time with a full charge. Changing batteries offers unlimited talk time.
Determine your headset battery status do the following:
- Listen to the voice prompts after powering on the headset
- With your headset idle, view the headset battery level on your base display's home screen
- View in Poly Lens Desktop App
Tip: To reset the accuracy of the talk time alert, deplete the headset battery, then charge it fully.
Replace your rechargeable battery after three years or 500 charge cycles, whichever occurs first.
