Hi everyone,
I tried to set up multiple Poly Edge phones as Teams SIP Gateway phones without luck.
A few quick questions here:
1. Is it possible to bypass Poly phone initial setup e.g. admin PIN setup, languages via Poly LENS? If yes, how?
2. I have set up a lab environment with DHCP option 160, and the device group policy with the Microsoft Teams provisioning server information. However, the Microsoft Teams provisioning server information does NOT apply to the connected Poly phones. So the phones are still with default factory configurations.
It will be appreciated if any advice/input.
Best regards,
HowardZ

Hello @HowardZ1 ,
Welcome to the HP Poly community.
From the more general Poly Phones VoIP FAQ Section:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I set up my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <= and you need Poly Lens now to get access to Poly Software.
The above should have troubleshooting steps.
Jul 13, 2022 Question: Can I bypass the Out of Box / OOB wizard or set specific settings on a Poly Edge E, Poly Trio, or Poly CCX phone?
Resolution: Please check => here <= for details. For details on how to do this using our free Poly Lens service check this file
I look into the above FAQ next week and add some Edge E specific details. A community search finds >this<
Best Regards

A lot of the original support docs from the old Poly website are no longer there - but Steffen ported over this article which captures a lot of this area:
[FAQ] Using compatible Poly IP phones to sign into Microsoft... - HP Support Community - 9012960
I have done two older VVXs myself - but did not use Lens - just manual.

Hi Steffen,
Today I tested it out and most of the phone configurations are working as expected.
Thanks again.
