The Poly Lens Desktop application (LegacyHost.exe) experienced a crash due to an exception (0xc0000409) in the Windows runtime library (ucrtbase.dll). This error typically indicates a status_stack_buffer_overrun, which can be caused by buffer overflow, memory corruption, or incompatible software versions. The crash likely impacted the user's ability to manage Poly devices through the Lens Desktop application.
Details
- The crash occurred in LegacyHost.exe (version 2.1.0.400), which is part of the Poly Lens Desktop application.
- The fault module was identified as ucrtbase.dll (version 10.0.22621.3593), a core Windows component.
- This issue appears to be systemic, with 89 devices experiencing the same crash and a total of 615 crashes across all affected devices.
- No recent package installations or uninstallations directly related to Poly Lens Desktop were observed, suggesting the issue may not be due to recent software changes.
