My real problem ended up being HPs AI that did not understand or was too stupid to point me to the microsoft store to actually get the HP Smart software. hps AI kept running me in circles with no definite answer on where to download hp smart. Once I found the actual software I had no problem. hps software to assist you with problems is SO BAD it is unbeleiveable!!!!
