NOTE:

  • Poly Lens Desktop 2.3.0 or later for Mac supports Mac M1 Series Silicon or later. Intel based CPUs are no longer supported with Lens Desktop for Mac.

Version 2.3.1 Windows and Mac

What's New

  • Improved background process that periodically checks for network reachability after PC startup to reliably connect to the Poly Lens Cloud.
  • Added support for Asynchronous USB Audio setting for Poly Studio R30, addressing the audio issue observed on MacOS Tahoe.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed an issue where Poly Studio V72 failed to display the “Current Software” version following an update to v1.6.0.
  • Fixed an issue where Poly Studio V12 failed to display the “Current Software” version following an update leading to incorrect update prompts.

Known Issues

  • During the initial setup for Poly Studio V12, the "Static" IP network parameters are not saved after the first attempt when applying the LAN configuration, but this works on the second attempt.
  • If the 802.1 and Proxy settings are configured on Poly Studio V12 through the Poly Lens Desktop app, the changes won't be visible in the App UI after saving if the device firmware is at 1.4.6.430149 or lower.
  • Once the software for HP 960/965 cameras is updated, the Poly Lens Desktop app must be restarted to display the updated software status.

Oh, phew!  I have been experiencing the same on Windows 11 and thought that, perhaps, my Norton anti-virus software was preventing me from downloading the update.

Thank you,

Ted P.
