- How to configure a Poly Trio to pair with a Studio X or G750...
A compatible Poly Trio can be paired with a compatible Poly Studio X, G62 or Poly G7500 to act as either a controller or a "remote" depending on the Provider used for the Poly Studio X or Poly G7500
The Out of Box guide => here <= simply explains why there are different models/configurations/options depending on what SKUs stock-keeping-unit the Poly Trio was originally purchased.
You will need to enable the Generic Provider / Base Profile to be able to pair with a compatible Poly Studio X or Poly G62, or G7500.
- Download the attached ControllerMode.ZIP file and unzip both files and copy these on a FAT32 formatted USB Stick.
(You have to change the password first and confirm this)
once the next screen appears plug in the USB stick and confirm USB Provisioning
(the password is the one added before)
and the device will provision from the USB stick into the desired mode (The file contains instructions in case any changes are wanted) if compatible as outlined above in detail.
The configuration will also apply the EULA, and set the language to English and a UK timezone.
The new Password, if the USB files are used, will be 789
