Hi @Greg2323,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Turn off the Printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Wait for a minute.
Open the Cartridge Access Door:
- Locate and open the cartridge access door. Ensure that the cartridge carriage moves to the center of the printer.
- Allow the carriage to stop moving before proceeding.
Remove the Cartridges:
- Carefully remove the ink cartridges from the carriage.
Check for Protective Tape:
- Ensure that the protective plastic tape has been removed from the new ink cartridges.
- Do not touch the contacts or ink nozzles to avoid damage.
Inspect the Cartridges and Carriage:
- Inspect the ink cartridges for any visible damage.
- Check the carriage inside the printer for any obstructions that might prevent the cartridge from rotating.
Reinsert the Cartridges:
- Reinsert the cartridges and ensure they are properly seated in the carriage.
- The cartridges should click into place securely.
I hope this helps.
