Hi @tommelv,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The 17.03.65 error typically indicates an issue with the cartridges or the cartridge authentication process, most often related to HP Instant Ink cartridges being used without an active subscription, or the printer failing to recognize new cartridges properly.
1. Confirm Cartridge Type
- Are you using HP Instant Ink cartridges? These only work while your printer is enrolled and actively connected to the HP Instant Ink service.
- If you’ve cancelled Instant Ink, you must replace the cartridges with standard HP 910 or 910 XL cartridges (non-Instant Ink versions).
2. Check for Protective Tape
- Make sure there’s no plastic or tape left on the new cartridges.
- Remove and reinsert each cartridge firmly one by one.
3. Restart the Printer
- Power off the printer and disconnect the power cable for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect and power it back on.
4. Please share the image of the ink cartridges to help better
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
