I intermittently get many blotches of blue toner on my prints. I ran the cleaning mode, and even slide that little slider inside back and forth 5 times as described in the manual. It worked great for quite some time. Now the blue blotches are back?
I printed a few demo pages and some look good except with blue blotches on one side of the page (image included). Another test page almost had no color in the orangutan, and the blue blotches.
I opened the door and the transfer belt is covered in blue toner blotches. I've cleaned the transfer belt gently with a microfiber cloth.
I've checked the blue toner drum (under the cover) and sometimes see blotches there.
I read a similar discussion about checking the photoconductor, but I don't know what that is.
Do the toner cartridges have a squeegee like wiper to ensure only a thin layer of toner is picked up by the cartridge drum?
