I'm wondering if someone can help me. I'm trying to print white text on 210gsm black paper.
There's no instructions online to print white text of any kind to black paper.
However, I am aware there is no white toner in the printer.
Can white toner be bought for the Deskjet 2800e Series?? And where to purchase from?
Can anyone please provide some support as to where I can go for support (online instructions) on how to print onto black paper??

Hi @James2800,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Printing white text or graphics onto black paper using a standard inkjet printer like the HP Deskjet 2800e Series can be challenging because inkjet printers typically do not have white ink or toner. White ink or toner is essential to create opaque white text or images on dark-colored paper.
Here are some considerations and alternatives for achieving white text on black paper:
1. Use of White Ink or Toner
Unfortunately, the HP Deskjet 2800e Series, like most inkjet printers, does not support white ink or toner. Inkjet printers typically use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) inks, which are transparent and mix to create colors. Without white ink, the printer cannot produce opaque white text or graphics on black paper.
2. Alternative Printing Methods
If you specifically need white text on black paper, consider the following alternatives:
Screen Printing: Screen printing allows for printing opaque white ink on various materials, including black paper. This method is suitable for larger quantities and specific designs.
Foiling or Embossing: These are techniques where metallic foils or embossed impressions are applied to the paper after printing. While it's not printing white ink directly, it achieves a similar effect of contrasting colors.
3. Design Considerations
Reverse Text Design: Instead of printing white text, design your text or graphics as a "reverse" where the background is white and the text or graphics are black. This way, you can print on white paper and cut out the design to adhere it to black paper.
Use Pre-printed Labels or Stickers: Print your text or graphics on white labels or stickers and then adhere them to the black paper.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
