The cartridge is a genuine hp 65xl for the printer 3835 which was first used in UK and is now in NZ with a cartridge bought from Amazon in Australia.

Hi,

65xl cartridges are compatible with other printers and not intended for any HP 3830 printer, neither Officelet or Deskjet, I would assume your printer model is a Deskjet Ink Advantage 3835 printer? as there is no such Officejet 3835 printer model, anyway none of these uses HP 65 ink cartridges in any way.:

Hi I bought the same cartridge as the one that came out off the printer as it was on a hp ink plan and as we have moved to New Zealand from the Uk our plan ended .the old cartridge and the new one are the same number 65 so can’t understand why it doesn’t work..
