Hi @Claudekw,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer's ink reservoir!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand how frustrating this can be, and I'm truly sorry that the previous steps didn’t resolve the issue. If you haven’t already, please try the following steps:
Verify Ink Valve Position:
- Ensure that the ink valves are fully opened. Sometimes, the valves may not be completely in the open position, preventing ink from flowing.
Check for Obstructions:
- Inspect the ink cartridges and reservoirs for any blockages or obstructions that might be preventing ink flow.
Use Original HP Ink:
- Ensure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Some third-party cartridges can have compatibility issues.
Reset Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about a minute and then plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes, resetting the printer can resolve the issue.
Perform Manual Cleaning:
- Use a lint-free cloth to gently clean the ink cartridge contacts and the ink reservoir areas. Any dirt or debris could impede ink flow.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
