HP envy 5055
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Several months ago I started having trouble with an HP envy 5055.  It would no longer connect to HP instant ink.  When I installed a new cartridge, after 10+ pages, it would no longer print and the screen would show that i was required to enroll at HP Instant ink.  Of course, I was already enrolled.  The printer shows on the instant ink website but also gives me the error in grey letters unable to connect to printer, try again later.  Since then, HP has taken me thru a number of troubleshooting steps which include setting up new accounts, enrolling and un enrolling the printer several times, sending new cartridges, instructing me to purchase a new router and giving me new protocols for my ISP to setup on the provided router.  Nothing works.  Even with the extended warranty, I am caught in a loop between the customer care group telling me it is an instant ink issue and the instant ink group telling me it is online and there is nothing they can do.  I have had multiple phone calls, hours on hold and hours on the phone with HP with no solution.  Additional note - I can connect it to a router at a friends house who is also on hp instant ink and it does not work.  My friends printer works just fine.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.
