Hi @Jose18sep,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is printing only part of the document on one page and the rest on a second page, try these troubleshooting steps.

Check Paper Size and Margins

  • Make sure the paper size in the print settings matches the actual paper loaded in the printer (e.g., A4, Letter).
  • Ensure the margins are properly set in the document.

Adjust Scaling and Fit-to-Page Settings

  • In the Print dialog box, check if there’s a setting like:
    • Fit to Page or Scale to Fit
    • Shrink to Fit
    • Custom Scaling (set to 100%)
  • Adjust these settings to ensure the document prints correctly.

Check Printer Driver and Software

  • If using HP Smart or HP Print and Scan Doctor, update your printer drivers.
  • Try printing from a different program (Word, PDF, etc.) to see if the issue persists.

Try a Different Printer Driver

  • If you are using a PCL6 driver, try switching to PCL5 or PostScript (if available) in the HP website's driver section.

Check Page Breaks in Document

  • If printing from Word, go to:
    • View > Print Layout and check for any unwanted page breaks.
  • In Excel, ensure print areas are correctly set (Page Layout > Print Area).

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Go to HP Support, enter your printer model, and check for firmware updates.

Test with a Different Document

  • Try printing a different document or a simple test page to see if the problem is specific to one file.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
