HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer

Hello I am new to all this and this is my last ditch effort. I recently replaced my ink cartridge XL 934 size in my 6830 Officejet pro. It shows the ink cartridge is in and is green checked and I have empty color carts in as well since it wont print unless every slot is filled with a cart.

My issue is that every time I print something the page is blank. I have followed all the trouble shooting guides.

Unplug and replugged into wall outlet 15 second wait.

Clean the ship

Replaced cart with other cart.

Did the cleaning diagnostics.

No matter what there is just no ink being laid on the paper. I even checked to see if it was colored of black/white on printer and my computer.

need help figuring out this puzzle.

Hi @Shanzul,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It's frustrating to experience printing issues, but let's try to troubleshoot and resolve the problem with your HP Officejet Pro 6830. Here are some steps you can take.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Make sure that the ink cartridges are properly seated and securely clicked into place.
  • Check the ink levels on your computer or printer display to ensure that the cartridges have sufficient ink.

Clean Printheads:

  • Use the printer's software to run a printhead cleaning cycle. This can often resolve issues with print quality.
  • Access the printer settings on your computer and locate the maintenance or tools section to find the printhead cleaning option.

Alignment:

  • Run a print head alignment to ensure that the printheads are properly aligned. This is also found in the maintenance or tools section of your printer settings.

Test Print:

  • Print a test page directly from the printer. This can usually be done through the printer's control panel. If the test page prints correctly, it may indicate that the issue lies with the computer or print job.

Driver Update:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the official HP website.

Check Print Settings:

  • Make sure your print settings are correct. Ensure that you have selected the correct printer, paper size, and print quality.

Try Another Document:

  • If you are trying to print a specific document, try printing a different document or a simple test page. This can help determine if the issue is document-specific.

Verify Color Settings:

  • If you are printing a color document, check the color settings on your printer and computer to ensure they are set to print in color.

Update Firmware:

  • Check for and install any available firmware updates for your printer. These updates may include improvements or fixes for printing issues.

Remember to follow the printer's user manual for specific instructions on performing tasks such as printhead cleaning and alignment.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
