HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I have an Officejet Pro 7720 which I bought 2 sets of multipack cartidges for when I went to the USA. I bought them from the HP Amazon store and checked the model was compatible but when I just inserted one it says its not compatible.

 

On doing further checks it seems my 7720 wants 953 cartridges despite having specifically bought the cartridges for my printer model number. It seems these are region specific and I may need to do some kind of reset to get them to work. Please help as these cartridges are VERY Expensive and are identical except for their region code which is very poor form!

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

 We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
