Hello, I moved from France to Canada and brought my OfficeJet Pro 8715 printer with me. Here, I can only find 952 cartridges, not 953. Can you help me change the regional restriction?

Hi @MB240,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
To access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hello, Thanks for helping. Unfortunately I can't see the private message icon, there is nothing near the bell. And when I click on the link there's an error message (in an HP screen) : You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action. Click your browser's Back button to continue.

Well, yesterday I spent two and a half hours on the phone with HP support trying to perform this regionalization reset. Yes, more than two hours! Only for the guy to tell me, at the end, to buy another printer because mine is too old (bought in 2019 -> 5 years) and no longer communicates with the HP system. There's nothing to be done. So I threw it away and bought a new one here. Thank you, HP, for making me throw away a perfectly functional printer for an economic regionalization consideration that your support couldn't even resolve. Thank you for the environment...
