The new ink cartridges that came with my 9015 printer will not lock in place and keep popping out.  Asking if I’m using the right cartridges is not helpful. Instructing me to “push and lock” per the instructions is not helpful. Fix your mechanical tolerance stack up problems.

I understand you are having issues with inserting the ink cartridges into the printer. HP recommends using HP ink cartridges. Using recycled or non-HP ink cartridges may or may not work. HP cannot guarantee its functionality.

 

To resolve the issue, the first thing to check is if you are using the compatible HP ink cartridges. So yes, I will have to ask this question.

 

Kindly refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges for step-by-step instructions to know how to replace the ink cartridges.

Make sure the plastic tape if any, is removed from the new ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.

 

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
