No cyan cartridge is working in my 9768 printer.  I tried three that I had on hand that were new cartridges. I do believe that these defective cartridges have ruined my printer as well.

Not acceptable and taking this issue to the next steps.

Good luck. I've been dealing with this since December. The last full set of cartridges I bought was in September 2020. I always have a set on hand for when needed. I tried installing them in December and discovered that they yellow and cyan cartridges were defective and had been recalled. When I managed to find some at the HP online store they had an expiration date of October 2021 which and earlier hp representative on this site had told us not to use. Fortunately my need for color printing is minimal so I currently only print in black. Customer service has been nil. Numerous people have had to buy new printers and have bought other brands.

It appears that after cleaning the print head nozzle under the cyan cartridge with isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel has allowed the ink to flow again.  I think HP needs to make it clear that the print head cleaning through software needs to be in addition to manually cleaning the head nozzles in many cases.

Stike that.  Lasted for one test print and cyan now not printing.

Can you print in Black only? When  I replaced my cartridges my printer said they were not compatible HP cartridges. They were.

I put my old cartridges back in and then changed my default to black only.  With this method I am able to print just not color.

If you need to print in color you are out of luck with your current printer or any other HP printer that uses the same cartridges which is a friend of mine's  issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I bought a color inkjet to be able to print in color.  I ordered a cyan cartridge just now from HP website.  Going to clean the print head nozzle manually and try the new cartridge when I get it.

Using print in black is the only way we have been able to use our HP printer. We had replaced our HP cartridges with approved other brand when unable to get 902 yellow. This worked fine for awhile but eventually had to resort to printing in black only as the color cartridges wouldn't work properly.  Has anyone found out why the 902 cartridges are not available? Any other HP cartridges having same problem?

Completely flushed out the print head nozzles manually and installed the cyan cartridge I had just ordered from HP (exp. date 10/22) and all is working right now.
