HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer

I recently had 3 replacement ink cartridges sent to me. The replacement was for the same issue I am currently experiencing and I am wanting to know if this is happening to anyone else. Each time I open the 910XL ink cartridge, following the pictures on the side, ink keeps leaking out from the top. It's happened with a full set of  C,M, and Y cartridges. I just received the replacements, opened up the C cartridge and it leaked everywhere. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hi @Rek_nmad,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP 910XL ink cartridge is leaking, there are a few steps you can take to address the issue.

  • Remove the ink cartridge from your printer and place it on a piece of paper or a paper towel to prevent any further mess.
  • Wipe off any excess ink from the cartridge using a clean, dry cloth or paper towel.
  • Check the cartridge for any visible damage or cracks. If the cartridge is damaged, it may need to be replaced.
  • If there is no visible damage, check to make sure the cartridge is properly seated in the printer. If it is not, remove the cartridge and reinsert it, making sure it clicks into place.

Note: When handling ink cartridges, be careful not to touch the electrical contacts or the nozzles on the bottom of the cartridge as this can cause damage to the cartridge and affect print quality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
