hp 8025e

I purchased 4 910xl ink cartridges at office depot yesterday and replaced my yellow and blue.  the blue worked fine but the yellow gave me a message " the indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer.  If the problem persists, replace the cartridge."  I put back in the old low ink yellow and got this message, " the indicated cartridges are original HP cartridges that were previously installed. " I went back to Office depot traded this one in for another and got the same message with the new one.  I ran all the checks in the printer utility and checked for updates.  (this used up a lot of my other inks).  I checked on line and did the suggested procedure to reset the printer and the same issue.  My printer is an HP 8025e that I have had from about 1.5 years and was working fine until I changed ink yesterday.  Is there and issue with my printer or the ink.  I just spent over $100 on ink and now I can not print anything as with the new yellow installed it will not print.

Hi @gabyhy,

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
