are hp 936 and 962 cartridges interchangeable I have an older 9100 series printer and purchased another new one, but the ink type is different, same printer  Are they interchangeable?

HP 936 Ink Cartridges

  • Compatibility: HP 936 ink cartridges are compatible with HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b Printer and similar printer models.
  • Ink Colors: Available in Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow.
  • Page Yield:
    • Black: Approximately 1,250 pages per cartridge.
    • Cyan, Magenta, Yellow: Approximately 800 pages each.

HP 962 Ink Cartridges

  • Compatibility: HP 962 ink cartridges are suitable for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, 9020 series, and other associated printer models.
  • Ink Colors: Available in Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow.
  • Page Yield:
    • Black: Approximately 1,000 pages per cartridge.
    • Cyan, Magenta, Yellow: Approximately 700 pages each.

Both ink series cater to different models, and their choice generally depends on the specific printer compatibility. Additionally, the HP 936 series provides a slightly higher page yield compared to the HP 962 series.
