I posted a reply to another Windows 11 color printing issue and decided maybe a repost would help everyone find a solution that took me 2 plus hours to figure out.....
-------
I purchased a computer with Windows 11 - so a clean install not an upgrade to 11. After installing the software, drivers, etc. on my computer, I could only print in greyscale and monochrome. After going through the reinstall process a couple of times just nothing worked. I opened up the Windows Control Panel, went to Devices and Printers and found my Officejet Pro 9010 series printer and right clicked on icon to open Printer Properties. I found the model listed as Model IPP Class Driver with no color, double sided print options, etc. Now that isn't right! I opened the Advanced tab and had the wizard look for HP drivers. Found the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series PCL-3 driver, selected it and completed the wizard. And guess what - PRINTER WORKS NOW. I can print in color, double sided, etc..... So it's pretty easy to guess that HP has a bug in the install program that worked fine with Windows 10 but doesn't set the correct driver for Windows 11.

Hi,
Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe
HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

As my first step, I did as Shlomi suggested and downloaded and ran the of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility version for my 9015 printer. It did not work. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Smart app and HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software. Problem still not corrected. I ran HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility again. That did not work. My next step was simple - I checked the printer properties as discussed in my post. It took one minute to fix. Get smart - just check the printer device settings before you mess with the reinstall and downloads or running the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility. This is likely a Windows 11 install/configuration issue that needs to be addressed by HP in their software.

Control Panel\Select "Devices and Printer"\Select Printer, right click and select "Printer Properties"\Go to "Advanced" tab\ instead of "Microsoft IPP Class Driver", select your printer driver against Driver from the drop down box.
