Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to align my printer? I use the app on my Samsung Galaxy s21 and on my ipad pro. Everything I google points to Windows but I don't have a laptop or pc. I have a deskjet 3720. I need a dummies guide but help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Hi @Moi15,

I'd like to help!

Try the below suggestions-

 Complete the alignment process again

In the HP Smart app, click your printer, click Print Quality Tools, and then select the option to align the printheads or cartridges.

 Reset the printer

Turning the printer off, and then on again might resolve an Alignment failed error message.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
