Hi,
I have an HP printer( deskjet2130) that I bought from China, and it was working completely fine until the ink cartridges(ink cartridges 61) became empty, I searched for the ink cartridges in stores near me, but I just found the ink cartridges 123 which is said to be compatible on my printer. so I only bought the black 123 ink cartridge because they were expensive, and I usually use only black ink. But my printer still didn’t work, and the black ink sign on my printer started blinking, after digging into the problem a little bit, I read that the printer needed to be re-regionalised to work on the new cartridge and I should call hp support so they can re-regionalise my printer, so I called HP support, and they told me that I should buy the tri-colour ink cartridge also so the process would work, so after saving some money I finally had enough to buy the tri-colour cartridge, so I bought it and called the HP support again, and after around 30minutes and after emptying my phone balance the worker told me that he performed two tries to re-regionalise my printer AND IT DIDN’T WORK, and if he attempted to try it one more time it would region-lock. I spent around 31 $ and a lot of time trying to understand the problem, but It just didn’t work.
I don’t want to take a lecture about how HP protect their ink cartridge from copying or whatever.
I just want to know if there is a way, after all that money I’ve spent and time, my bloody printer would work???????.
