I heve the HP Deskjet 5275. My problem is with the black ink. Whenever I print pictures on photo paper ( glossy I never used matt) I am having black ink rubbing off the picture onto my fingers and anything which comes in contact with the printed surface. The only solution I found is to gently whipe the picture with toilet tissues untill no more black "soot" comes off.
However this is hardly an ideal solution but at least it helps to keep my fingers clean if I heve to hdndle the pictures.
I heve read that it is important to choose the proper paper setting, which I regularly do, but didn't help.
Possibly found solution.
I have been using the setting "Other Glossy Inkjet Papers" which for me was the obvious choice. But didn't work well.
Now I have changed to "Other Photo Inkjet Papers" which appears to work well, after a short period of drying.
