It seems this is a consistent issue, but no one has an answer.
I purchased the HP 7740 printer a few weeks ago and EVERY TIME I print more than one page a black line appears on pages 2 and beyond. I've cleaned and aligned all cartridges.
The line seems almost like a single border line. It is about 1.5mm thick and lasts from the top to the bottom of the page.
I will be returning the printer if I can't get this fixed.

I understand the printer is printing a black vertical line. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Perform the steps mentioned in this document. Clean the rollers and make sure the papers are properly loaded.
If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
