Hello,
I replaced my black in cartridge for my HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer after it ran out. I keep receiving an error saying "the following ink cartridge must be replaced" and it indicates the black ink. I bought the exact same ink and it does not seem to be registering with the printer. When I put the empty black ink cartridge back in, it registers with the printer and the error does not pop up, but when I put in the EXACT same cartridge that is full, the error comes back up. Here are some troubleshooting things that I have already done:
1. Cleaned the cartridge and electric ports
2. Restarted the printer several different ways
3. Cleaned the ink smear and cartridges
4. Resorted the printer to factory default.
Nothing seems to be working. I am 100% positive that I bought the correct ink. It is also HP branded.
Please let me know if you have any fix! I would hate to have to buy a new printer.
