I’m stumped about what’s happening with my HP Envy 5660. It’s about 3 years old and it stopped printing black ink. The tri-color works fine. I already tried:
- Cleaning the printhead using "Printer Maintenance" function
- Cleaning the printhead with distilled water and separately tried a solution from Amazon
- Swapping out the ink cartridge with another genuine HP cartridge from Costco
- Going through the steps to do a the power drain
- Making sure my firmware is up to date
What else can I do? It looks like this is a known issue and it says to contact HP Support but since I’m past my warranty, it keeps jumping me to an unhelpful YouTube video. Help!
