I recently changed all of the ink cartridges in my office jet pro 8035e, with HP cartridges. The black ink will not print. I did a printer head cleaning and thought the issue was fixed. Then I looked inside of the printer and noticed what looked like an ink explosion. If this the problem? I’ve even replaced the black ink with a brand new one and still nothing.

How do I clean up all of the ink inside the unit? And how does something like this happen with the ink being the generic ink from HP? It seems I will have to buy a new printer because of a faulty ink sent to me by HP

Hey @pairofReds,

Thank you for your response

I am truly sorry to hear about the ink issue you've experienced. It's unfortunate that this happened, and I completely understand how frustrating it must be.

While rare, it is possible for even genuine ink cartridges to malfunction due to some pressure imbalance during shipping, which can result in leaks.

Considering the ink malfunction was at no fault of my own and will cost more for a replacement printer, is there any form of compensation? My wife has a small business she runs from home and uses the printer daily.
