Product: HP OfficeJet 6958 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My printer will not print black ink. Colors are printing faintly, but not black. I have installed 2 new black cartridges but neither will print. I have cleaned the printheads several times. What needs to be done to get the black ink to print?

I'd be happy to help you! 

                                                                                        

I understand that you are facing issues with the printer not printing in black and other print quality issues. 

 

Try updating the firmware. Click here

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, then either the cartridges are faulty or the printer needs service.
