HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer

I am having issues with print quality and it appears to only be black. There will light area and lines in the text of my documents. I have tried running the clean print head program and also cleaning the actual cartridges. Neither seem to be helping my problem.

I understand you are facing an issue with print quality issues despite trying the basic troubleshooting steps. Here are a few additional steps you can take to try and improve the print quality:

 

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the black ink cartridge has sufficient ink. Sometimes low ink levels can cause printing issues.
  • Align Print Head: Use the printer's software to align the print head. This can sometimes resolve issues related to smearing and blotchy prints.
  • Check Paper Quality: Poor quality or incompatible paper can affect print results. Make sure you are using the correct type and size of paper recommended for your printer.
  • Print Quality Settings: Adjust the print quality settings in the printer driver. Sometimes using a higher quality setting can improve print results, although it may use more ink.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Manufacturers often release updates that can improve print quality and fix bugs. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check for Software Issues: If the problem persists, try printing from a different software application or device to see if the issue is with the printer or the software you are using.
