HP ENVY 7640 All in One -  Black does not print correctly. Lines missing. This happens every time I use the  printer.  I don't print much.  When I do it pisses me off. Maybe I should just pint in blue. I need to WASTE Ink by cleaning the Heads 10 + times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled software as suggested. I might get to print10 usable and readable pages out of a cartridge of black ink due to excessive head cleaning. This happens with all black cartridges.  I used the printer last week to print 5 or 6 pages and was passable. This is what I get below one week later. Thanks.HP ENVY 7640 All in One.jpgHP ENVY 7640 All in One.jpg

@P7-1054gman, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
