I have replaced 2 ink cartridge for black and reset my printer, using the 15 second and 30 second method, the problem still persist.

@Jas887, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Blank Ink Cartridge!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I see your tri-color cartridge is working fine, but the black one still shows a "Cartridge Problem" even after replacement and resets. You’ve already done quite a bit of troubleshooting, so thank you for your effort there!

Let’s try a couple more things:

Gently clean the cartridge contacts (both on the black cartridge and inside the printer) using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water. Make sure everything is dry before reinserting.

Try a full power reset: unplug the printer while it's on, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

If possible, test with another black HP 680 cartridge to rule out a rare defective batch.

If the issue continues, it might be a hardware fault with the cartridge slot itself.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
