Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am getting poor print quality - subtle bleeding in my black text. How do I remedy this? It started after the printer had been turned off for two weeks during the summer.

Without seeing an example it is more difficult to say. The description almost sounds like you have a leaking cartridge. Were the new cartridges genuine HP or 3rd party?

HP Recommended

I looked deeper at my HP cartridges and found some black powder around. I cleaned it up and wiped the black roller and quality is now good.
