I have an HP DeskJet 3755 and it was a great printer. It originally connected wirelessly to my network and it printed like a champ when I purchased it in 2021. Fast Forward to 2023, we switched internet providers in March 2023, and have been without a printer because of the change in internet providers. I have tried to get the thing to print, but I have not been successful. The orange light keeps flashing. The Web Services light? What do I need to do to get rid of this and be able to print again? I am almost to the point of going and buying a not HP printer because I am so frustrated. I also would like to complain about you not having a number that I could call and resolve this issue. An internet chat group is less than likely to give me the correct answer. Poor customer service and poor tech support for as large of a tech corporation as HP you think that your service would have been better. This will be the last piece of crap that I buy from HP and I will be sure none of my friends or family buy your garage again.

Hi @cantprintmad008,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.
Please follow the steps below to connect your printer to the network again as the service provider was changed.
- Uninstall the HP smart app, Restart the printer and the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.
- Enable Wi-Fi setup mode: When you turn on your printer for the first time, it is temporarily placed in Wi-Fi setup mode so that it can be discovered during setup. Use the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode, and then set up the printer again. Go to Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer for more information.
- Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer.
- Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!

The steps you listed did not work. I deleted the app off my phone, restarted the computer, and then restarted the printer. I then re downloaded the HP Smart Print App on my phone, and reset the Wi-Fi setup mode on the printer. I then attempted to run the Wi-Fi setup, and it failed to get the IP address for the printer. That came back with an error. I re-entered the Wi-Fi password, but that also did not help either it still turned up an error. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with my Wi-Fi. The same network that I am trying to connect the printer to is also allowing to be type and upload this response, my son is streaming Disney+, my wife is watching TicToks on with all the devices connected to the same Wi-Fi. If there was an issue with the Wi-Fi I feel like we would not be able to use multiple devices at the same time. Your crappy printer is the problem. I really wish that there was a number that I could call and get this resolved. The stupid chat room where you have to wait for a response is not ideal. HP has the worst tech support EVER. This is the last piece of junk that I will ever buy from HP.
