Hi @SRM78,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the lights on your HP DeskJet 2723e are still blinking after changing the ink, here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check Ink Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove and reinstall them to make sure they are seated correctly.
  • Verify that the protective tape has been removed from the cartridges.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or HP’s official website.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are not empty and are the correct type for your printer.

Run a Printer Diagnostic:

  • Use the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel to run a diagnostic test to identify any issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
