Blue ink not printing correctly.  Was not printing at all.  After 6 cleaning cycles it prints half the blue block and provides some blue streaks on what should be the purple and green blocks.   I also put in new cartridge.

@Mike12315, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble with blue ink not printing properly on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer, even after multiple cleaning cycles and replacing the cartridge. Let's work through this together to get your printer back to top shape.

Check Ink Levels

Even new cartridges can sometimes be faulty. On the printer control panel or via the HP Smart app, check the ink levels to ensure the blue (cyan) cartridge is recognized and not low.

Use the Built-in Printhead Cleaning Tool

You’ve already done this, but just to confirm:

  • On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
  • Run all three levels of cleaning if necessary.
  • If the printhead is still clogged, wait 30 minutes and repeat the cleaning cycle.

Inspect the Cartridge and Vents

  • Remove the cyan cartridge and check for any clogged vents or protective tape that might still be attached.
  • Gently clean the copper-colored contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.

Align the Printhead

  • Go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead.
  • This helps recalibrate the printer and can improve color accuracy.

Print a Diagnostic Page

  • From the printer menu, print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page.
  • This will help identify if the issue is isolated to cyan or affecting other colors too.

Update Firmware

Make sure your printer has the latest firmware:

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
